SVIS integrates technology and innovation throughout its curriculum, always focusing on the development of critical thinking processes, not on mere mastery of the technology itself.

SVIS' Computer Science program allows to teach complex problem-solving skills. On Cohn Campus, SVIS has a dedicated MakerSpace for design thinking projects/maker education as well as a spacious Media Hub for research, inquiry, 3D printing projects, and more. Students also have access to leading edge tools through our 1:1 iPad or laptop initiatives for 3rd–8th grades.

Brief description of entry evaluation required

There is no language competency requirement for those entering into our Early Years Program (Preschool and Pre-Kindergarten) or Kindergarten.

Considerations will be made for those interested in the elementary school that has no prior formal language education. All applicants will need to take a 1:1 language proficiency test as part of the admissions process to better understand the foundations of their language skills unless they are transferring from an accredited school from the French Ministry of Education.

Deadline for registration (new academic year)

Every September, SVIS begins the application process for the following academic year. After March, rolling admissions is available for grades in which SVIS has an open seat.
