Instead of tests and other evaluations CIS follows the logic that as long as the child is happy within his/her new class that he/she integrates well and does belong there. After the free trial period, the staff will provide a Parent complete feedback with professional recommendations.

It promotes teaching and learning to ensure children’s ‘school readiness’ and gives children the broad range of knowledge and skills that provide the right foundation for good future progress through school and life.
Children learn and develop at different rates and in different wayseas of learning and development are equally important and very much inter-connected.
Primary
Chartwell Primary School is structured in line with the UK educational system. The table outlines the ages of students in the Primary School. Chartwell delivers the Cambridge Primary Curriculum, typically designed for 5-11 year olds, providing a curriculum framework to develop English, Mathematics, and Science skills, knowledge and understanding in younger learners.
The curriculum is well adapted and flexible to suit the international dimension of the School, which is why all subjects are taught in English. The curriculum seeks to strike the right balance between the search for meaning and understanding, and the acquisition of social, emotional and behavioural skills.

Our curriculum is based on the Cambridge International Education Program, which is designed to develop critical thinking skills, interdisciplinary inquiry, and an all-round development of students. We believe that education is about more than just acquiring knowledge and skills; it’s also about developing students who are kind, respectful, and culturally aware individuals who are prepared to succeed in a globalized world.
Our curriculum emphasizes creativity, community engagement, and environmental awareness, and is taught through an international perspective.
