Yes. Avenues has a Student Success Team (SST).

The SST members oversee individual students and understand their needs to share key information with the class teachers and subject area teachers as well as the deans of student life. The team includes a psychologist, speech therapist and occupational therapist, as well as several learning specialists. SST will work closely with the deans and Associate Division heads to make sure that student needs are communicated effectively, and that learning plans and strategies are in place.

Yes. All students are required to go through a multi-step application process.

After submitting an application, all parents must meet with the admissions team. Students are holistically evaluated through a combination of academic records, playgroups or interviews, teacher recommendations, written statements, and reading, writing, and mathematics assessments. All meetings and interviews can easily be held online.

Avenues has a style guide that is color-based. Students are required to wear black, white, and gray clothing. Avenues has branded uniform clothing that families can order optionally.

We have a very busy, diverse after-school program that allows students to explore their passions. We offer specialized classes ranging from drama to cooking to robotics to capoeira to music to art. These are charged separately. Older students participate on athletic teams that are part of the school program (free). Many older students also take the initiative and leadership to run their own "clubs" -- Model United Nations, school magazine, community service, yearbook -- the possibilities are endless!

Starting from Small World (our program for 18 months to 2-year-olds) through 12th grade, activities and sports are an integral part of our curriculum. Our Wellness and Movement program reflects a holistic approach to physical education that encourages a healthy and active lifestyle and ensures that all our students thrive in body, mind and spirit. Sports activities provide opportunities for all students to enhance their health, hone their skills and learn to collaborate through team play.

We have varsity and junior varsity teams for all Secondary Division students in soccer, volleyball, basketball, cheerleading and futsal and we compete in local, regional and national school tournaments.

The Avenues São Paulo campus is an innovative educational facility spanning 40,000 square meters, featuring 100 classrooms, 11 laboratories, 12 music rooms, 7 art rooms, 2 libraries, 2,375 square meters of sports facilities, a theater seating 252 people, outdoor spaces, a spacious covered courtyard, and a pleasant café for parents.

Students at Avenues São Paulo enjoy access to an outstanding set of athletic facilities. A gym, fitness room, two outdoor courts, plus the use of a football field and two indoor courts located outside campus.
