Dulwich College is one of the UK's oldest independent schools, founded in South London as a boys’ school in 1619. Dulwich College International (DCI) was established to bring the Dulwich education to students around the world and is now one of the fastest growing UK independent school networks. |
Dulwich College Seoul campus is an expression of its learning philosophy. It offers an educational environment designed to nurture the intellectual, physical, social, and emotional development of its students.
Our campus hosts outdoor play areas, an all-weather sports field, a futsal astro court area, an indoor gymnasium and a 25-metre indoor swimming pool. Facilities also include a 250-seat auditorium, a black box theatre, a dance studio, self-contained suites of music rooms, two fully stocked learning resource centres and libraries, science laboratories, an outdoor low ropes course, a food technology room, art and design workshops and a kiln room.
Dulwich College Seoul educates children from age 3 to 18, and English is the language of instruction. Children up to age 5 follow the Early Years Foundation Stage, and from Year 1 to Year 9 they follow the National Curriculum of England and Wales, which is enhanced to meet the needs of our international student body. In Year 10 they begin the IGCSE (International General Certificate of Secondary Education), a rigorous two-year course that requires students to take a broad range of subjects covering maths and sciences, English and foreign languages, and the humanities. It culminates in exams at the end of Year 11, and prepares students well for the two-year International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) starting in Year 12.
Dulwich College Seoul places equal emphasis on its students’ intellectual and personal development, encouraging them to learn from everything they do. All Junior and Senior School students are encouraged to take advantage of the co-curricular activities available at the College, to learn and develop new skills or devote time to an interest. Dulwich College Seoul believes strongly in delivering a holistic education that offers opportunities for students to excel academically in their fields of interest, while also developing skills needed in later life. Students’ engagement with communities, both inside and outside the College, broadens their experience and promotes a sense of social responsibility.
