All classrooms are networked and there is access to technology throughout the school. Wireless access allows students to access the internet for research wherever they are.
Classrooms are fitted with smartboard technology and students are encouraged to utilise presentation software and internet evidence when delivering their work to the class. We have consistently achieved average scores of 37 for IB Diploma (with some perfect 45 scores) which is significantly higher than the IB global average of 31, widening the gap between the school and other IB schools around the world. This result also showcases the difference that Nord Anglia Education schools bring to students’ academic results.
This level of attainment allows our students to gain admission to the world's elite universities, such as Cambridge, Oxford, Harvard and Stanford and many more over recent years.
Additionally, at NAIS Pudong we are delighted to share another year of outstanding IGCSE results for our students.
With 73.2% of grades awarded being A* to A and 98.6% A* to C, our students have yet again significantly exceeded the global average and continued NAIS Pudong’s impressive run of high academic achievement in this area.

Sports facilities at the school

NAIS Pudong has extensive facilities on campus; three indoor gymnasiums, a gymnastics/martial arts hall (dojo), a 25-metre indoor swimming pool, all-weather pitches, tennis and basketball courts and, a full size grass rugby/football pitch. A cardio/weights fitness room and a dance studio offer further opportunity for fitness activity. The school's recent upgrades include floodlights on the rugby/football pitch to extend sporting events into the evening.

Nord Anglia International School Shanghai, Pudong (NAIS Pudong) opened its doors in 2002 in Kangqiao, Pudong. NAIS Pudong was the first British school in China and the first international school based in Pudong.
