TTS have a reputation based on longevity garnered by a fee system that would suggest they are a model 'fee-paying' school. The reality is that it is a comprehensive-style of education which benefits from a strong expatriate student and parent base. And they are not accountable to any authority. They have good teachers however their results benefit from a white-collar student base. In 2020 TTS's handling of the A-Level CAG process meant that many students did not make their university of choice and in the aftermath of this where the head of Senior School has resigned, it would seem that many are left with more questions than answers as to what happened. My 3 children were there from the age of 5. One had no problems at all, one was asked to leave because they didn't feel that she would get the exams the school needed (she went on to get 3 high grades elsewhere) and the last one missed Oxbridge because the school mishandled the OFQUAL CAG process. So a 33% strike rate. Thats's a C/C- in my books. Could do better.

I have been a student at Tanglin Trust School for 4 years now and managed to improve a lot on science, geography, history, etc. Majority of the school staff are friendly and manages anti-bullying well, eventhough things might change from senior school. I recommend this school to anybody who is willing to follow the british curriculum. All I can say now is that the school is AMAZING.
