Our motto, "Learn to learn, love to learn, live to learn" is the driving force behind our vision, goals and everyday life at Szeged IPS. It is our objective to enrich the world with self-educators who are capable of continuous learning throughout their lifetime and to equip students with the skills, knowledge and understanding that will enable them to thrive in an unpredictable future. It is also our goal to provide a change to the educational scene in our region of the country by offering forward approaches to education and high-quality international schooling opportunities. |
Teaching approach of the school |
At our school, we believe that our educational methods guarantee our students a joyful environment and provide them with the conditions necessary for effective learning. Our topic-based education system, developed internationally, applies mostly a project-based approach. What advantages does this method have? According to studies, the efficiency of the traditional, lecture-style (frontal instruction) teaching method is around 10%, while that of cooperative learning is 70–80%. This teaching method engages students and makes learning fun. Thanks to small classes and our committed teachers, learning can be customised according to the individual needs of students, while they learn English in a natural way. |
