Teaching approach of the school |
Our blended curriculum is based on the Ontario high school standards of our Canadian partner school, Columbia International College (CIC) and our own unique Project Based Learning (PBL) curriculum. Our students will graduate with the high school diploma from the Taipei City Government. VIS accommodates students who have unique passions in specific interests. Our implementation meets students at their individual needs, encourages personal expression, and allows them to develop at their own pace. Our experimental philosophy prioritizes learning through doing. We are a new school, and we are increasingly adapting and introducing more interdisciplinary courses in Project Based Learning (PBL) to encourage students to engage in real-life problem solving. As our High School and Middle School campuses grow, VIS will continue to nurture students as independent thinkers and prepare them for top colleges and universities around the world. |
