Musashi International School Tokyo is a fully certified Cambridge school offering the Cambridge Curriculum from Year 1 to Year 13. The Kinder program is designed to prepare students for the elementary school program. Small classes provide the opportunity for students to receive special assistance in every area. MIST teachers demonstrated a high degree of flexibility as a result of the pandemic. Teachers at every level from Kinder to Year 13 utilize technology to maintain instruction for students. Observing Kinder classes and the ability of Kinder teachers to maintain student engagement with young students for 2 1/2 hours demonstrates the level of competence of the MIST teaching staff. Teachers use a combination of direct instruction, peer instruction, questioning, feedback (peer and teacher), videos, and instructional applications to engage, motivate and teach students. |
