The current management had decided to increase the annual fees 8 percent every year for the next several to cover the costs of expanding high school, but on the lower level they decided to combine classes to make it 26 students in a classroom (which is very high for an international school) instead of hiring one additional teacher. This is a very, very bad signal about the quality and how things are run there.

My child attended Tokyo YMCA International School and met wonderful teachers and friends. The support from the teachers and administration is also excellent. This school has given my child a foundation to move on to a new career path. I am very grateful.
The school is easy to get to and offers great learning and activities.

The relationship between students and teachers is strong, and it is a warm place that you can always visit even after graduation.
