EITV offers the best of both worlds, providing the Cambridge International Curriculum and the Portuguese National Curriculum, the latter of which can be complemented with the USA Dual Diploma, giving our students a well-founded education that is recognized worldwide. Our facilities are designed to support teaching and learning in a variety of ways, from spacious classrooms equipped with modern technology to sports facilities that promote physical health and teamwork. |
Our approach to education places emphasis on instilling curiosity and a love for learning through academic and project-based teaching and learning methodologies.
We purposefully have built an inquiry focused curriculum, to support and deliver our school’s vision, ethos and mission best.
We evaluate pupil performance through continuous formative and summative feedback approach. Throughout the duration of a given term, teachers will have individual discussions with pupils about what they have accomplished well and which areas are in need of development. Through this approach, students are empowered to take ownership of their own learning, and what they ought to do to achieve better results.
Extracurricular activities extend learning beyond the classroom. In line with our holistic view of education, we provide our students with a range of diversified activities and comprehensive options whether in arts, sports or technology.
School sports play an important role in the overall development of students. It provides them with an opportunity to engage in physical activity, develop teamwork and leadership skills, and learn important life lessons such as discipline, perseverance, and sportsmanship.
Whether it’s basketball, football, soccer, or track and field, school sports offer students a chance to compete and strive for excellence, both individually and as part of a team. We participate annually in the Mega Sprint, as well as inter-school basketball, handball and volleyball competitions.
We believe that providing high-quality school facilities is essential for creating a positive and effective learning environment for our students.
Our facilities are designed to support teaching and learning in a variety of ways, from spacious classrooms equipped with modern technology to sports facilities that promote physical health and teamwork.
