At Cambridge House British International School we follow the National Curriculum of England, along with meeting the Spanish schooling requirements of the Valencian government. Immersion in English is total from the first day of school, at the age of three, although it is complemented by the learning of other languages such as Spanish, French, German or Italian as they progress their school years.

Cambridge House Community College is the first British school in Spain to gain double accreditation achieving the B.S.O (British Schools Overseas) standard and gaining accreditation in NABSS (National Association of British Schools in Spain). The school has offered an excellent British education following the English National Curriculum since 1986. CHCC is located in Valencia, on the Mediterranean coast of Spain. In November 2014 the school was awarded the prize of British International School of the Year in the Independent Schools Awards, a world-wide recognition.

The foundations for learning throughout a student's school life are laid in Early Years. It is a crucial stage in which children develop emotionally, physically, socially and cognitively. At this educational stage, classes have a teacher and a Teaching Assistant, which allows each student to work at their own pace in a welcoming, friendly and stimulating environment.
In the British education system, primary education consists of Key Stages 1 and 2, with standardised tests at the end of each stage. During this stage of education, as well as providing a solid foundation in language and numeracy skills, we consolidate our students' personal, social and emotional skills.
In this educational stage we teach the following subjects: Computing, Science, History and Geography, PSHE, Music, Art and PE.
Secondary education consists of Key Stages 3 and 4, culminating in the IGCSE examinations and the automatic recognition of the Spanish diploma of Compulsory Secondary Education (ESO).
In the National Curriculum of England, the Baccalaureate is known as the Sixth Form. At the end of this stage, our students obtain the A-Levels and the homologation to the Spanish Baccalaureate Diploma.
At this stage, students prepare for A-Levels, the British academic qualifications which give access to prestigious Spanish and international universities. Our students can choose from a wide range of A-Level subjects, depending on the pathway they have chosen to follow, while preparing for their Spanish PCE subjects, gaining access to a wide range of qualifications that will open doors to top universities in Spain, the UK, the USA, Europe or the rest of the world.
At Cambridge House British International School our students have access to specialised classrooms for the development of specific activities, such as an art room, theatre room, laboratories and an outdoor space with sports machines for the older pupils.
The facilities are adapted to meet any reduced mobility needs. All accesses to the school have ramps, lifts and lift platforms to facilitate transit.
Located on the outskirts of Valencia, in the town of Rocafort and close to a quiet residential area, the school has landscaped areas, which encourage the respect for nature that permeates the school community. The school is easily accessible by private transport, with two car parks nearby.
