Quick summary of key school information
School details
Use of technology in the classroom |
LIS has an ICT Room and a library connected to the Internet 24 hours a day through a high-speed connection. Students can search the Internet for information to complement their work in class, and they can communicate with the other schools in the Institution and with the rest of the world. Project iPad 1:1 - from 5th Year Primary to 3rd Year Secondary, students use iPads for their school work. This is done through digital, interactive books, web platforms, and through a number of apps that the School provides students with, so they can carry out their daily tasks. Innovation in learning is one of our priorities as an Institution. Students in other years enjoy a number of School-owned iPads that are implemented in many activities and projects. LIS believes that an early start is essential in learning how to use technology as a means to access knowledge. Multimedia Classrooms - all classrooms are equipped with multimedia projectors, and the majority also have digital interactive whiteboards. Many classrooms are also equipped with Apple TV devices which allow teachers to share multimedia content with students without cables, through the School’s wi-fi network. |

(4 miles) away from Torrente and 15 km. (9 miles) away from Valencia, next to the Autovía del Mediterráneo, A-7 (Highway of the Mediterranean, A-7). Its excellent academic and sports facilities, surrounded by nature, have brought the School prestige and enabled it to grow since its foundation. |
