In Primary, students focus more on personal connections. In secondary, we believe that students should have a balanced life, and typically have 5-7 hours per week in grade 6, up to 13 hours in grade 10.

We enrol students with tier 1 needs that can be accommodated in the classroom. Students with greater learning needs are typically first referred by the Canton before entering the classroom with the option of 1:1 support

ISOCS has a learning support team. Incoming students who have a diagnosis undergo a 4-week assessment period that allows the school to understand who they are as a learner. We then work with the family and teachers to put an Individualised Education Plan in place for differentiated instruction, accommodations and, where necessary, 1:1 support.
