READY TO THRIVE
As an international school, we aim to foster a global mindset among all of our students.
With more than 30 nationalities represented at our school, a global perspective is the foundation of our identity. By teaching in English and offering EAL lessons as well as German and French, we break down language barriers, and our international curriculum provides diverse opportunities for worldwide success.
THE PATH TO TOP GLOBAL UNIVERSITIES
By combining the latest teaching methods with first-class facilities and resources, each child is encouraged to reach their full potential in every area of school life.
ISZN is the only international school in Zurich that combines the best of the International Baccalaureate and the British National Curriculum. While students in Primary are encouraged to develop a lifelong love of learning, the skills they acquire during these years will help them thrive in Middle and Upper Years.
Student progress is tracked throughout all stages of their learning journey, setting them on a path to success from the very start of their education.

Our Early Years programme, designed for children from 3 months to 6 years of age, encompasses Nursery, Pre-K, and Kindergarten (1 & 2). This formative stage sets the foundation for a lifelong learning journey, preparing children for a happy and successful transition to the next phase of their education.
The entire Early Years programme is delivered in a dual-language environment (German and English), fostering language development from the start. We warmly welcome babies from 3 months old in our Little Ibex Nursery & Kita, which operates year-round for 50 weeks, Monday to Friday, from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm.
Throughout Primary we follow the globally renowned International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme.
The program focuses on the development of the whole learner, so in addition to academic achievement, the program strongly emphasises the social, physical, emotional, and cultural growth of all students.
Whether native speakers or complete beginners, all pupils in the Primary School receive German language lessons. Classes are small and proficiency grouped, meaning that pupils make rapid progress regardless of the starting level.
In the Middle Years, we focus on the unique academic and personal needs of our students. This stage is crucial as it shapes their future character traits.
Our program provides a safe and nurturing environment for students to explore adulthood and build resilience. Through dedicated pastoral care and tailored teaching, we instil a strong work ethic, true purpose, and a love for learning, empowering students to thrive in all areas of life.
The Cambridge Lower Secondary curriculum creates an effective bridge between the IB Primary programme and the Secondary English National Curriculum, as well as a strong foundation for the IGCSE years. With a broad range of subjects, the curriculum is designed to develop transferrable skills that equip students for success beyond the classroom.
In Grades 11 and 12, students study Cambridge International A-Levels; recognised and highly regarded around the world.
The syllabuses develop a deep understanding of subjects and independent thinking skills. Students can choose from traditional subjects such as Maths and English, to more contemporary subjects such as Computer Science or Business Studies.
ISZN is housed in a newly renovated, modern campus designed to support our inspiring curriculum. Bright, spacious classrooms and state-of-the-art facilities create an ideal environment for learning and growth.
Conveniently located near Wallisellen train station, the campus offers easy accessibility from various directions, ensuring a seamless journey for students and families.
Our private driver takes students out to the modern public multi-purpose hall of Wallisellen and the local swimming pool which are ideal complement to our own facilities. In the summer months we also use the outdoor sports center with a track and field course and different football pitches.
