Rietberg Montessori School is a state-accredited day school operating under the auspices of the Department of Education of Canton Zurich. The Montessori curriculum fully covers the curriculum requirements of Canton Zurich and guarantees transfer to secondary school. The activities offered to the children in our Montessori classrooms are based on the needs of children and encourage self-motivated and joyful learning. The materials developed by Dr Montessori support the psychic and physical needs of children at every stage of their development. With the guidance of the teachers and within the framework of a carefully prepared classroom environment, the children lay the foundation for their life-long learning process.

Teaching approach of the school |
At Rietberg Montessori School, there are three mixed age kindergarten groups of children from 3 to 6 years. Trained Montessori staff teaches the children. The tuition languages are German and English.
English is an integral element in the school. In every class, there are both German-speaking and English-speaking teachers. From fourth grade onwards, a French teacher works with the class as well. |
