The Grange Institution is an official partner with UNESCO’s World Engineering Day (WED) for Sustainable Development 2025. The distinction of being one of only three schools globally chosen as a partner underscores the high standard of education provided at The Grange.
Organized in collaboration with the World Federation of Engineering Organisations (WEFO), this initiative highlights the importance of engineering education amongst children in achieving the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

At the launch event in Paris, TGI was invited as a distinguished guest, joining an audience of governments, UN-associated organisations, policymakers, educators and leaders in the public and private sectors.
Since its inception in 2018, The Grange Institution has grown from a small school with a big vision to a recognised leader in education for sustainable development. The Green Granger is at the heart of the school’s sustainability efforts, teaching students about food security and environmental stewardship through hands-on learning in our green school gardens and eco-farm spaces.

The school’s commitment to sustainability extends beyond the classroom. Students engage in real-world projects, such as global reforestation and improving water sanitation in rural Cambodia, fostering a deep understanding of sustainability and inspiring them to become future leaders in this field.
Being selected as a global partner for WED 2025 is a significant milestone for The Grange Institution, reflecting its dedication to nurturing future-ready learners who are socially responsible and environmentally conscious.
