Marlborough College Malaysia provides a contemporary, challenging and enriching education that prepares pupils for a global future.
Our beautiful 90 acre estate, reminiscent of the generous grounds and playing fields of Marlborough College in the UK, provides a safe, spacious and inspirational environment for pupils to explore their passions and develop their skills. Whilst academic rigour forms the bedrock of all that we do, we believe that education is not just about achieving academic success, but also about nurturing socially conscious individuals who are keen to make their mark on the world.
Our pupils are bright and relish a challenge. It is the norm for our pupils to achieve excellent grades while making the most of the incredible opportunities that we offer. We have an impressive record of success in International GCSEs and then the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme, which opens doors to the world’s finest universities.
Our commitment is to get to know all of our pupils as individuals and to inspire, support and motivate each one, nurturing their full potential and setting them on the path to a bright future. It is our priority to make each pupil’s experience an enormously exciting, enjoyable and enriching one.
I am thrilled and extremely honoured to be leading such a vibrant and successful school and invite you to visit us to experience something of the spirit of Marlborough for yourself. You will not be disappointed.
I look forward to welcoming you.

Qualities and characteristics best defining the school
|
Marlborough College Malaysia is a fully coeducational, and independent British boarding and day international school in Iskandar Puteri, one of the best in Malaysia. The school is situated on a secure 90-acre estate on the southern tip of Malaysia 20 km from the Singapore border. The campus provides a spacious and beautiful environment to enrich the development of all pupils.
|
Teaching approach of the school
|
In addition to promoting and achieving academic excellence, MCM's mission is to encourage children to explore, through compassion, companionship and conversation; and from that exploration, to build confidence and communities for good.
This will develop well rounded balanced individuals who will maximise their own considerable potential and contribute to society in a positive way.

Preparatory School | 3 to 13 years
In the Preparatory School the curriculum is based on the English National Curriculum; however, Marlborough College Malaysia recognises that the Curriculum should reflect the international nature of the school.
Pupils are taught Mandarin Chinese from Reception and Spanish and Malay are offered as language options. It mirrors also the aim of the school to provide a broad ‘all-round’ education.
The Preparatory School provides rich learning experiences where pupils receive excellent education and preparation for entry to the Senior School. Our stimulating, nurturing environment encourages the pupils to reach our high expectations of academic achievement.
Senior School | 13 to 18 years
The Senior School caters for Year 9 to Year 13 (age 13 to 18). Academically, the UK National Curriculum is broadly followed to ensure an optimal combination of breadth and specialisation through the IGCSE curriculum (to Year 11); and the International Baccalaureate (to Year 13).
Pupils pursue tailored programmes designed to stimulate, challenge and support them in discovering and developing their talents in a variety of areas. A wide range of academic extension and enrichment activities – whether through societies, lectures, theatre trips, museum and gallery visits, debates, poetry readings, conferences and concerts – create a full co-curriculum, which recognises that qualifications alone do not produce well-rounded individuals.

There is nothing that can rival Full Boarding for being the best way for young people to learn to be independent, make good decisions, help others, manage their time and form strong friendships. Through full boarding, pupils benefit from being part of a caring and compassionate house and from the tremendous opportunities for activities around our wonderful campus. The vast majority of our boarders are full boarders and stay throughout the week and at weekends.
