We have completed a year with ULIS and so far the school has met all our expectations. ULIS has a very holistic approach and this has worked well for our child . She has thoroughly enjoyed her 8th grade and is looking forward to her high school years at ULIS.

Our kids started at ULIS in 2020, right in the thick of the pandemic. Despite the chaos and the restrictions, the school has been their home away from home ever since. The school’s unique focus on kids’ wellbeing and academic rigor sets it apart. We can see on our kids how ULIS instilled in them lifelong learning skills. This and the school’s approach against bullying deserve commendation. Ms. Monica Lee, the Primary Principal, is doing an amazing job making sure that every child thrives.
As we prepare to move from Portugal, our kids have gone through interviews with nine schools abroad with different curriculums (IB, American, French, British) in an attempt to find the perfect next school. We were thrilled and relieved to see them score very well in all evaluations. Thanks, ULIS, for everything! We will miss you very much!

Great environment for making the learning experience a good memory. The teachers and staff create a net to support the student and enhance each individual ability. They are open to new ideas proposed by students, and encourage them to take actions. After being part of international schools in Singapore, Paris, Dubai, A Coruña, we are super happy to be part of ULIS community!

My two kids have been at this school since the opening, and I can certainly tell you that this school would not be a bad pick for your child. If you’re looking for a unique international school in central Lisbon, with an incredible staff and fantastic ambiance, this is your best pick!

As a parent of an IB student (graduation year!), I am glad to see that over the past few years at ULIS my daughter has developed her critical thinking skills and became at ease with presenting and supporting her ideas and projects. It was a delight to see her becoming more self-confident, autonomous and motivated. She is also enthusiastic about her academic and professional future and eager to explore her own potential.

The school has opened under difficult circumstances but has excelled! Our 3rd grader dubbed this year, "The best year yet!" Her teachers are kind, knowledgeable, and dedicated to the student's performance and engagement. Ms Kuemmerlin (lower school Principal) has facilitated the teachers and staff to create a welcoming fun environment that our daughter is excited about daily!

The school offers a great environment to thrive, and our 6 year old son is so happy since he started there. The teachers are very thoughtful and are able to nurture the students' curiosity on a daily bases, in a practical and personalized way (project based learning).
During the pandemic, the school was able to transition very well to online learning, with interactive classes and support for students and families.

Has a new school that opened during a pandemic, United Lisbon managed to create a strong connection between the families and the teachers. The school has state of the art facilities that facilitate a happy, safe and challenging environment for the students and the outdoor space is fantastic for all kind of sports activities. My 3 year old portuguese son has already very strong bonds with his teachers and his English development has been amazing. United Lisbon was definitely the best choice for his education and we couldn't be happier.
