My two girls are in Beacon Private School and the first thing I have to say is that they love and are excited to go to school, which is very important! There are so many positives, but let's talk about a few! The number of students in each class at BPS is limited, ensuring teachers are able to give individual attention and focus to every learner. There is also a strong focus on character building ( have seen this change in my daughter who used to refuse to speak out loud two years ago and has just today asked me to enroll her for the school’s musical). There is also a sense of community as the school feels like a large family where your voice (as a parent) is always heard. Another plus is that learners are given the opportunity to learn three languages (my older daughter (grade 3) is currently doing Arabic, English and French, but Spanish is also offered).
All recent changes have been positive ones in my opinion and the new management have been so clear and transparent with everything. Most recently, the School has become a PYP and MYP candidate (which cannot be said for a lot of other schools in Bahrain) and I personally am beyond excited to see where this takes the school.

Beacon Private School is more than just a school. It is an outstanding place to learn and grow personally and socially.
The learning environment is positive, familiar, inspiring and enriching. My children feel safe, heard and valued, and so do we as parents. The entire BPS community is finding common ground for the best interest of the students.
The school is growing steadily and with SEK on board, I’m confident it will widen the horizon of my children and all the students academically and culturally even further.

My kids are super happy at BPS, they have learned unique skills that are not offered in similar schools. I love the facts of small class sizes, 3 languages, learning support, loving and highly qualified teachers, caring staff, international/global approach but conservative at the same time, open approach of communication with teachers and admin staff when needed, Islamic teachings and celebrations, any issues brought from parents and parents association is listened…, etc.
