Student
As a former graduate, I can attest that my academic journey at this institution was fraught with inconsistencies.
Throughout my IB experience, we often faced the absence of our Math AA teacher due to “family circumstances” with no proper substitutions. This led to a rushed curriculum where many students were left bewildered. A considerable number of us had to hire tutors to bridge the gap, while others managed only because of their prior education in STEM-focused schools.
The same teacher also taught physics, and her frequent absences meant we often had no classes at all. Asking questions in her class was ill-advised as she could become aggressive if her explanations were not understood. The Math AI teacher, while slightly better, did not provide much relief.
On a more positive note, some teachers stood out for their excellence, such as the Psychology teacher, English B & Dutch B, and the Biology teacher. However, the economics teacher, was among the worst, frequently requiring students to grade their own assessments and refusing to justify her grading decisions.
In essence, this school did not adequately prepare me for the IB program. I had to spend thousands of euros on tutors to achieve good results. Despite what the school’s marketing team may claim, our achievements are largely due to external tutoring rather than the quality of teaching provided by the school. The frequent absences of key teachers, particularly in math and physics, resulted in significant educational gaps.
Regarding the school community, a substantial portion of the student body comprised individuals expelled from Dutch schools for behavioral issues or those flaunting their wealth. While there are indeed good students, fitting in requires conforming to a certain affluent, elitist demeanor.

Dear Student
We are sorry to read your experience at our school did not meet your expectations. We know that the IB Diploma is academically rigorous and that many students around the world require a tutor to achieve the best results they can. And we have students from the class of 2024 who have been accepted into Cambridge, Kings College and Imperial College London. That's testimony to excellent teaching and learning. Yes, we can also say that our student body IS diverse, they are supported by our school and given the best chance to succeed. Please get in touch with us to discuss further.
Kind regards,
Admissions Team
